AMC Developing Goodfellas Series

Goodfellas AMC is creating a TV series according to Goodfellas, Deadline reviews.Nicholas Pileggi - who authored the Martin Scorsese mob classic and Wiseguy, it which the film relies - is mounted on co-write the series with Jorge Zamacona (Homicide: Existence in the pub). Goodfellas producer Irwin Winkler and the boy David will also go back to produce. Scorsese, however, is this is not on board in almost any capacity yet.Watch clips from GoodfellasA TV adaptation of Goodfellas, which starred Robert P Niro, Ray Liotta and Joe Pesci, have been within the works since September 2010. The film won Pesci an Oscar for Supporting Actor and was nominated for five more, including for Picture and Director.What is your opinion? Is an interesting idea? Funny how?
